The Role
We are looking for an inspiring and motivated English Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Wolverhampton from October 2025. This is a long-term assignment, offering full classroom responsibilities across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ confidence and analytical skills in both language and literature. The role involves marking, assessment, and contributing to the wider English department, which is known for its collaborative and creative approach.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and reflective practitioner who can engage students of all abilities. You should be:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experienced in teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Skilled in creating dynamic lessons that promote reading, writing, and critical thinking
  • Committed to high standards of achievement and behaviour
  • A strong communicator with excellent classroom management and organisation skills
