Job Description
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham from October 2025. This long-term assignment offers an excellent opportunity to inspire young people through the study of language and literature, while contributing to a supportive and well-established department.

The Role
You will be responsible for teaching English across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, and analysis. The role involves full teaching responsibilities, including marking and assessment, with a focus on preparing pupils for GCSE success. You will play a vital role in promoting a love of literature and language, while supporting all learners to achieve their potential.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a qualified English Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a proven ability to engage and inspire students. Effective classroom management and a commitment to raising attainment are essential.
