Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? A thriving and inclusive mainstream primary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their Additional Resource Provision (ARP) team, supporting children with complex learning needs. About the School:
This friendly and welcoming primary school in Enfield is committed to ensuring that every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential. The school has a strong focus on inclusion and provides a highly supportive environment for both staff and pupils. The ARP caters for up to ten children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication difficulties, ensuring a structured and engaging learning environment. The provision is well-equipped and benefits from a dedicated team, including two experienced Teaching Assistants who will work closely with the SEN Teacher to provide tailored support for each child.
Role Overview:

- Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (Dependent on experience)
About You:
✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
✔ Has a proven track record of supporting children with complex learning needs, including ASD, communication difficulties, and other developmental challenges.
✔ Demonstrates expertise in adapting the curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
✔ Possesses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
✔ Is passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
Your Responsibilities:
🔹 Plan, prepare, and deliver individualised lessons for children within the ARP.
🔹 Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support students’ progress and personal development.
🔹 Use a range of strategies to support children with complex learning needs, including differentiated teaching and sensory approaches.
🔹 Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
🔹 Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
