Computer Science Teacher

Computer Science Teacher required for a well-resourced secondary school in East Birmingham. This rapidly improving school is looking to add an experienced Computer Science Teacher to an experienced and proactive team of teaching and support staff. Are you a qualified Computer Science Teacher who has a track record of inspiring academic success and a love for your subject?

As a Computer Science Teacher at this school, you will be joining an experienced team of Computer Science, Business and ICT teachers who are committed to delivering outstanding lessons that stretch and engage students. Facilities are excellent and you will have access to an extensive range of resources. This role requires a Computer Science Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills. You will receive excellent support form an experienced pastoral team and the SLT are committed to improving expectations. this role requires a QTS or QTLS Computer Science Teacher.
 
Job Role:

• Planning and delivering and teaching Computer Science Lessons across Key Stage 3 & 4
• Leading GCSE booster sessions for students who require additional support
• Working in tandem with the Head of Department to plan and deliver the curriculum
• Keeping appropriate records of students work, progress and achievement
• Setting high standards of teaching and acting as a positive role model for students
