I'm working with a London Local Authority looking for a Building Control Surveyor for an initial 6-month contract.
 
Below are some details of this role.

Role: Building Control Surveyor
Rate: £600 - £650 pd (DOE)
Duration: 6-months, possible extension
Location: SE London - The role involves hybrid working, mainly site inspections and remote work, with occasional office days. 

Job Description:
1.1 Manage building proposals, ensuring timely decisions as per legislation.
1.2 Oversee and inspect on-site work under relevant building acts and advise on entertainment licensing and repair/improvement grants.
1.3 Verify fees meet Charges Regulations criteria.
1.4 Review and approve 'initial' and 'final' notices from inspectors.
1.5 Maintain detailed site inspection records.
 
Requirements:
- Minimum 3H RBI with 6+ years in building control on high-rise/complex buildings.
- Associate membership of CABE, CIOB, RICS, or equivalent essential.
