Building Surveyor

This role is with a Local Authority in London looking to bring on a Building Surveyor with experience in the industry before.

Role Overview:
As a Building Surveyor for this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and services related to property condition, compliance, and building management.
You will play a crucial role in council owned properties carrying out inspections, surveys and assessments to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct building surveys and inspections to assess the condition of properties.
• Provide advice on building maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports and schedules of work for clients.
• Manage and coordinate projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and health & safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout projects.
• Assist with dilapidation reports and other legal documentation when required.
• Contribute to the development of the company’s building surveying strategy.
