Rate: £80 per hour
Contract Length: Intial 3 months with the possibility of extension

Our client, a well-established housing partnership, is looking for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead the early phases of their projects. This contract position offers the chance to work on impactful housing refurbishment and construction projects, ensuring everything is in place for seamless delivery.
The Role:As Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement, and risk management of projects, ensuring all pre-construction activities are delivered efficiently and in line with stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Lead the Pre-Construction phase, ensuring projects are fully prepared before construction begins.
✔️ Work closely with housing associations, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope and expectations.
✔️ Develop detailed project plans that align with both client requirements and business goals.
✔️ Manage the procurement process for materials and services.
✔️ Coordinate with the construction team to ensure project readiness.
✔️ Identify and mitigate project risks through effective risk management strategies.
✔️ Ensure clear communication between all project stakeholders.
✔️ Maintain compliance with industry regulations and housing partnership frameworks.

What We’re Looking For:
🔹 Degree in Construction/Building Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
🔹 Proven experience in a Pre-Construction role within the housing or construction sector.
🔹 Strong understanding of design, procurement, and planning processes.
🔹 Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
🔹 Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations in construction.
