About the role:

We are looking for a experienced Fostering social worker to join a Connected Carers Team on a locum basis.

A requirement is for the applicant to have experience working within Fostering and to have a good understanding of the role within a Connected Carers Team.

You will complete Reg 24 viability assessments and Full Connected Carers assessment to support our tchildren to live with those connected to them through family/friendship.

You will support, supervise and complete reviews with Connected Carers, to help them through the change of being a carer and not a family member or friend.


What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
