The Social Worker will be for 3 months.
The Social Work position will be in the Review Team based at Kensington Town Hall (W8 7NX).
The expectation will be for the Social Worker to be in the office 3 days per week. The mandatory days will be a Wednesday and Thursday, the other day can be flexible. Two days can be used to work at home to complete write up's.
The Review Team holds the majority of the cases in RBKC and the Social Worker may be required to complete a re-assessment if there has been a change in need, be able to complete a mental capacity assessment, carry out a 6 week review and an annual review of care and support that may have been set up already.
Carers may also be attached to the cared for person in receipt of care and support, therefore the Social Worker will also need to complete a Carers Assessment as part of their involvement.
The Social Worker will also be required to identify and complete a Safeguarding Concern (s42.1) and if the Safeguarding will progress to a full enquiry this aspect of the workflow will be transferred to the Complex Social Work Team to progress the Safeguarding further.
Supervision will take place weekly in the first month and then monthly thereafter
