Semi Skilled Operative

RGB are lookijg for a Semi-Skilled Operative to undertake a permanent position in the Facilities & Mantenance sector.

The Client

Our client undertakes repairs and maintanence across a few different channels, but mainly for large Hospitality clients. The opperate across the southwest, southcoast, up to north somerset.

The Role

The job specifics are very varied and wide. One day you could be fixing some leaking taps, to fixing damaged walls and painting. Geographically you maybe asked to stay overnight (extra bonus payment) with accomodation, food, and drink provided at the companies cost. You will be provided with a vehicle and a fuel card to assist travel. Working from 08.00 to 17.00pm day shift, however, if working beyond 6.00pm to middnight it's time and half, and anything past midnight it's double time. 

The Candidate

The successful canddiate must show some skilled experience within the construction sector, with a keen eye for detail. You are not expected to know everything about construction as my client are looking for someone who want's to learn new skills, the right appraoch to working on a career, and an apetite to progress. CSCS card is prefered but not essential, Driving licence is required, some basic hand tools maybe needed to get started.

The Process

If successful on your selection you will be invited to a two stage meeting with my client. At first it will be a formal discussion with the Opeartions Manager, and 2nd stage it will be a meeting with the Opeartions Director and Manager. You must provide a minumum of 3 years work history in either construction or FM enviornment.
