Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf

Duration: 5 Weeks (until 24 December 2025, with rehearsals from 11 November)
Hours: Casual hours (shift pattern, approximately 09:00 - 17:30 during live event: 23 November - 24 February)
Salary: Competitive PAYE: £12.78+ per hour  | Umbrella: £16.72 per hour

Are you outgoing, fun, and brimming with Christmas spirit? NRW People is excited to offer a magical temporary role as a Santa's Animator with our client in RCT, located in the heart of South Wales. Starting with rehearsals on11 November 2025, this 5-week position supports the iconic Santa’s Toy Mine event, bringing joy to thousands of visitors.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist as Santa’s helper, taking tours, managing the Toy Shop, or working the Photo Station during shift patterns.
• Bring the Toy Mine experience to life, interacting with families and creating memorable moments in a former coal mine setting.
• Ensure tours run smoothly, maintain your performance space, handle customer issues, and support safe evacuations if needed.
• Collaborate with staff and management, showcasing confidence and a passion for festive fun.

What We’re Looking For:

• A lively individual with an infectious Christmas spirit, eager to go above and beyond 
• Ability to work casual hours (approx. 09:00 - 17:30) during the event period, with rehearsals from 11 November.
• Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the Rhondda Valley.
