📍 Location: Pembrokeshire (travel costs reimbursed)
⏰ Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:30, with flexibility for assessments beyond 17:00)
📅 Contract: 03/03/2025 – 02/05/2025
💷 Pay: £34.61-£42.50

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Mental Health Social Worker (AMHP) to join a dedicated Adult Mental Health and AMHP Team on a temporary contract. This role is ideal for a passionate professional looking to make a positive impact on individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct Mental Health Act Assessments, demonstrating recent experience within the last five years
✔ Respond promptly to assessments in various settings
✔ Champion the Social Model within secondary mental health services
✔ Complete 117 reviews and additional duties as required
✔ Provide regular updates to management on activities and case progress
✔ Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service delivery
✔ Be flexible to work beyond core hours when assessments require

Requirements:
✅ Qualified and experienced AMHP, holding a current warrant
✅ Registered with Social Care Wales
✅ Proven experience conducting Mental Health Act Assessments within the last five years
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ Ability to work independently and under pressure
