Mail Sorter

This is a Mail Sorter role at Pertemps (on behalf of Royal Mail), Livingston, United Kingdom. Royal Mail ensures letters and parcels reach their destinations on time. The position involves sorting mail by hand and machine, moving and lifting mailbags and parcels, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

🕐 Shifts: Various shifts available – 6AM - 2PM (£14.48 per hour) 2pm - 10pm (£14.48 per hour), 10pm - 6am (£15.74 per hour)

We’re looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our team at the Livingstone Outhouse. As a Mail Sorter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the mail moving and ensuring letters and parcels reach their destinations on time.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
 
• Sorting mail by hand and machine to route it to the correct destination
• Working quickly and efficiently to meet daily targets
• Moving and lifting mailbags (up to 11kg) and parcels
• Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail with every item
• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Good physical fitness – you’ll be on your feet and lifting throughout your shift
• Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
• Reliability and punctuality
• A positive attitude and willingness to work flexibly
• No previous experience required – full training provided
 
Weekly & Monthly pay options available for workers
 
Must be able to reliably commute to site
