In this role, you will lead a multi-year programme focused on delivering new technologies, processes, and capabilities to protect our clients' critical infrastructure, data, and digital assets. The minimum contract term for this role is 2 years.

You must have strong Technical Project Manager skills, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex programmes, including Cyber Security projects. The role will be responsible for achieving key project KPIs, including timeline, scope, budget, and quality.

You will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, and an understanding of IT operations, network infrastructure, and emerging cyber resilience technologies.

You'll lead a cross-functional project team, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery. There will be a dedicated Technology lead and IT Architecture Lead on the programme, and the role will work under the guidance of a Senior Programme Manager.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Project Planning & Execution – Develop comprehensive programme and project plans, managing interdependencies across workstreams from initiation through to post-implementation.
  • Issue & Risk Management – Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, driving innovative solutions to ensure delivery against key project KPIs.
  • Budget & Resourcing – Ensure the programme is adequately resourced and funded to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders within the business, providing regular updates and maintaining transparency and alignment throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Governance – Establish and maintain appropriate governance structures, ensuring consistent reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Escalation Management – Identify and escalate issues accurately and in a timely manner to ensure swift resolution.
  • Change Management – Lead change management initiatives to support smooth adoption of new technologies and processes across the business.

Required attributes, knowledge and experience:
  • 10+ years of project management experience, including a minimum of 5 years delivering large-scale, complex business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience in implementing major cyber security projects, with a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and resilience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage integrated teams comprising internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and lead change across the organization.
  • Strong adaptability in dynamic business environments with multiple competing priorities.
  • A highly analytical mindset, capable of proposing effective technology and process solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Proficient in structured project management methodologies, covering the full project lifecycle and tools such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Experience working within a hybrid delivery framework, combining Agile and Waterfall approaches as appropriate.
  • Professional project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
