Pay rate £33.90 per hour
Vitalis Social Care are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join a Family and Friends Team.
Job Role and Responsibilities: -
The Family and Friends Team offers an assessment and support service to family and friends’ carers, who provide alternative accommodation for children who are not able to remain within the care of their birth parents.
You will be completing viability assessments, SGO assessments, Regulation 24 fostering assessments and may be required to complete other assessments required by the Team.
You will be also offering a support to kinship carers in a variety of situations/circumstances including Special Guardianship Support (ASGSF assessments and SGO reviews).
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with professionals of every discipline. With a remit spanning the assessment and support of connected persons, you’re guaranteed different challenges every day.
The role demands close collaboration and good working relationships across the integrated service and CLA team, CIN teams and Care Experience service to deliver an integrated approach to childcare planning.
