The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Solihull is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from February 2026 on a supply basis. The role involves teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that promote curiosity, enquiry, and strong geographical understanding.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment. This opportunity is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain consistent experience within a supportive school setting.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering both physical and human geography
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be organised, reliable, and committed to pupil progress
