The Role
A secondary school in Sandwell is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Science Teacher to join their department from January 2026 on a long-term supply basis. You will deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils of varying abilities to make consistent academic progress.
The role includes full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, and assessment, with schemes of work available. This is a strong opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking a stable placement within a supportive department.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management
- Be organised, dependable, and committed to pupil progress
