The Role
We’re recruiting a confident Maths Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Shrewsbury from January. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching across KS3 and KS4, with full planning, marking and assessment responsibilities. You’ll deliver clear, engaging lessons that stretch pupils across a wide range of abilities, while working closely with the department to maintain strong outcomes in Maths.
 
The Candidate
You’ll be a QTS or ECT Maths Teacher with strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for breaking down tricky concepts in a way that sticks. The school is looking for someone positive, consistent, and committed to helping pupils grow in confidence. Strong behaviour management, good communication skills, and a proactive approach are essential.
