The Role
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Computer Science and Business Teacher to join a progressive secondary school in Birmingham from January 2026. This long-term supply role combines teaching Computer Science and Business across a range of key stages and qualifications.
You’ll deliver Computer Science lessons at KS3–KS4, including programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, as well as IT at KS5 (AAQ qualification). In addition, you’ll teach Business BTEC Level 1/2 to KS3–KS4 students, helping them understand core enterprise and finance principles. This is an exciting opportunity to make a broad impact across two growing subject areas.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a confident and adaptable teacher with strong subject knowledge in both Computer Science and Business. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
- Experienced in teaching Computer Science at KS3–KS4 and IT at KS5
- Familiar with delivering BTEC Business Level 1/2 content
- Skilled in designing engaging, career-focused lessons with real-world applications
- Organised, collaborative, and committed to supporting student achievement across disciplines School
