Job Description
A good secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dynamic and committed Science Teacher to join their team from November 2025. This is a full-time, long-term supply role, ideal for someone passionate about delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, including Triple Science.

The Role
You’ll be teaching across the science disciplines, ensuring all lessons are challenging, inspiring, and accessible to a range of abilities. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons, preparing students for GCSE success, and contributing to a well-established science department. You’ll also have the opportunity to bring your own ideas and approaches to a forward-thinking team.
The Candidate
You’ll hold QTS and have solid subject knowledge in science, ideally with experience teaching biology, chemistry, and physics to GCSE level. You should have a genuine enthusiasm for your subject, strong classroom management, and the ability to motivate and support students to achieve their potential. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
