Geography Teacher – Birmingham
 
We’re working with a good-rated secondary school in Birmingham seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team this November. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or ECT who wants to inspire curiosity about the world and bring geography to life for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role
You’ll deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that help students understand both the physical and human aspects of geography. You’ll be responsible for planning lessons, assessing progress, and maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour. The role will involve teaching mixed-ability groups and contributing to a supportive humanities department known for its collaborative spirit.
 
The Candidate
You’ll hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be an ECT eager to complete your induction. You’ll have a strong subject knowledge of geography, excellent classroom management, and a creative approach to lesson delivery. You should be confident in using a variety of resources and methods to engage students and foster a genuine interest in the subject.
