The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham from November 2025. This full-time supply role involves teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that help students understand the world around them and develop key geographical skills.
You’ll take full classroom responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment, while contributing to the department’s wider curriculum and enrichment activities. The role is ideal for a teacher who can inspire curiosity and encourage students to think critically about global and environmental issues.
The Candidate
We’re looking for a motivated and dynamic Geography specialist who can bring the subject to life. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)
- Experienced in teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Passionate about developing students’ analytical and research skills
- Committed to maintaining high academic standards and supporting pupil progress
- A positive team player with strong communication and organisational skills
