A progressive secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a talented English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The Role
You’ll teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering well-structured, engaging lessons that foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking. You’ll take on full classroom responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment, with opportunities to contribute to whole-school literacy initiatives. The department is well-resourced and collaborative, offering a strong network of support.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be completing ECT induction
- Be confident teaching the English curriculum at KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to high standards
- Inspire students through creativity, clarity, and enthusiasm for the subject
- Be a reflective practitioner who values continuous professional development
