Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with recent experience working in a primary school? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TA to join a welcoming school in Benwell on a long-term temporary basis, supporting pupils in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 & Year 6).

The Role:
  • Supporting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Providing targeted support to pupils, including those with SEN
  • Leading small group interventions to enhance learning outcomes
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Requirements:
βœ”οΈ Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
βœ”οΈ Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to request one via ourselves.
βœ”οΈ Recent experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
βœ”οΈ Strong understanding of Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum
βœ”οΈ Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
βœ”οΈ A commitment until the end of the summer term
