Are you a Qualified Social Worker with leadership experience and a passion for safeguarding children and families facing complex challenges?

Oldham Council’s Children’s Services is looking for a Team Manager to join their specialist Complex Safeguarding Team.

As a team manager in the Complex Safeguarding Team, you’ll be at the forefront of managing cases involving exploitation, trafficking, modern slavery, and other high-risk concerns.

What’s Involved:

• Lead and manage a team of dedicated social workers to deliver effective safeguarding interventions.
• Oversee and ensure the quality of assessments, care plans, and interventions.
• Provide guidance, support, and supervision to team members to achieve positive outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Drive team performance and maintain compliance with statutory requirements and council policies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Proven leadership or management experience within Children’s Services.
• Strong knowledge and experience in complex safeguarding practices, including exploitation and high-risk interventions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
