Job Title: Class 2 (or 7.5 Tonne Driver with Trailer Towing) / Fitter
Location: N18 3BD
Pay: £15 per hour (negotiable)
Hours: 50 hours per week (overtime avaliable)

A leading plant hire company based in N18 is seeking an experienced Class 2 or 7.5 Tonne Driver who is confident towing a trailer and has hands-on maintenance/mechanical experience. This role involves delivering, installing, and testing excavator attachments on sites across London and surrounding areas. Full specific training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excavator attachments to site locations across London and nearby regions.
• Install plant attachments on site, including matching hydraulic quick couplings.
• Fit attachments to machinery with assistance from the machine operator.
• Test attachments, including checking correct flow and pressure levels.
• Assist in the depot workshop when required.
• Maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring they are kept clean and presentable.

Requirements:

• Class 2 or 7.5T (Grandfather Rights) licence.
• Ability to tow a trailer.
• Basic maintenance or mechanical experience (training on specifics provided).
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.
• Good knowledge of London routes is beneficial.
