*** ‘Outstanding’ 3-Form Entry Primary School, Ward of Selly Oak
*** 1:1 and small group support to children with Autism and ADHD
 
The Role
As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will work closely with children who have Autism and ADHD, providing tailored support to help them engage with their learning. You will assist in delivering structured interventions, adapting learning materials, and implementing strategies to support their social and emotional development. Working alongside teachers and SEN specialists, you will play a key role in helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and ADHD. Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential. A background in psychology, education, or a related field is desirable, but not essential. The role would suit a graduate or someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a school before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, or SEN support.
