The Role:
As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils who need extra help to meet their academic targets. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted interventions, focusing on key subjects such as literacy and numeracy. Your role will involve working 1:1 and in small groups, helping to build confidence, reinforce learning, and track progress.
 
The Candidate:
The school is looking for a patient, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting children’s education. Previous experience in a similar role or working with KS2 pupils is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils are essential qualities for this role.
