SEN Teaching Assistant – Haringey – Immediate Start 
Pertemps Education is excited to announce an opportunity for compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join an inclusive primary school in Haringey. Position: SEN Teaching Assistant 
Pay: £90.00 - £105.00 per day 
Location: Haringey 
Start Date: January  
Interview Date: ASAP 
 
Your Role: 

• Provide tailored one-on-one or small group support to children aged 4-11 with a range of special educational needs. 

• Assist in managing classroom behaviour through positive reinforcement techniques to encourage engagement and participation. 

• Collaborate with the class teacher to create an inclusive environment that addresses the diverse needs of all learners, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or physical impairments. 

• Modify and adapt learning materials to ensure they are accessible and engaging for SEN pupils. 

 
What We’re Looking For: 

• Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar environment. 

• Exceptional patience, empathy, and relationship-building skills with children and staff alike. 

• A solid understanding of various SEN conditions such as autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, or learning disabilities. 

• Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles.
