Job Description
A secondary school in Bromley is seeking a talented Computer Science Teacher to join its dedicated staff team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators to teach engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Salary: £36,413 – £53,994 per annum (Outer London – MPS/UPS)
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Suitable for: ECTs and Experienced Teachers
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to gain it (ECTs welcome)
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Computer Science
- Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Computer Science
- Bring an innovative and inspiring approach to coding, programming, and digital learning
- Be committed to raising attainment and creating inclusive, high-quality lessons
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons at KS3 and KS4
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and abilities
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Contribute to the development of Computer Science resources, curriculum, and schemes of work
- Promote digital literacy and computational thinking across the curriculum
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and whole-school CPD opportunities
- A comprehensive CPD and induction programme, including tailored support for ECTs
- A collaborative and experienced Computer Science team
- Opportunities to develop professionally and take on responsibility
- A school culture that promotes curiosity, creativity, and resilience
- A genuinely supportive working environment where staff voice and well-being are prioritised
