SEN Teaching Assistant – Camden – Immediate Start 
Pertemps Education are seeking SEN support staff to join an inclusive primary school in Camden. We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work with pupils from the ages of 4-11 with a range of special needs.  
 
Job: SEN Teaching Assistant 
Pay: £90-£100 
Location: Camden 
Start Date: October
Interview Date: ASAP 
 
Responsibilities 
 

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).  

• Help manage classroom behavior, using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct and participation. 

• Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment that caters to students with a variety of learning difficulties or disabilities, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or physical impairments.  

• Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet the individual needs of SEN students, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging. 

 
Qualifications and Skills 
 

• Experience with children with special educational needs in a school or similar setting 

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with children and staff 

• An understanding of SEN conditions such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or sensory impairments 

• Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection
