Job Description
A highly regarded and inclusive secondary school in Brent is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vibrant Science department and support students in achieving academic success.
- Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
- Location: Brent, North West London
- Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

You will teach General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach your specialist subject—Biology, Chemistry, or Physics—at Key Stage 5. This role is ideal for a committed educator who wants to foster scientific curiosity and help students develop a deep understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons aligned with national curriculum standards
- Plan and assess effectively to support pupil progress and attainment
- Use practical work and investigations to enhance learning experiences
- Monitor student progress, offering feedback and support as needed
- Work collaboratively within the Science department and wider school community
- Contribute to departmental enrichment activities and curriculum development
- Promote high standards of behaviour, effort, and achievement
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a relevant degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
- Possess strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Be experienced in teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is an advantage)
- Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, high-quality education
- Be reflective, proactive, and a strong team player
