Job Description
Are you a creative and passionate Art Teacher looking to make a real difference through your work? This warm and welcoming special school in Solihull is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (Mondays and Fridays). You will be inspiring students with a range of additional needs to express themselves, explore creativity, and build confidence through art.
As an Art Teacher in this setting, you will teach small, engaging classes of students who thrive with tailored support and practical, hands-on learning. Each class benefits from additional adult support, a well-resourced art room, and a leadership team who are fully committed to providing an outstanding education for every pupil.
Job Role:
- Planning and delivering creative and accessible art lessons to small groups of students.
- Encouraging self-expression, confidence, and creativity through a range of artistic mediums.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual needs.
- Differentiating lessons for students with varied learning and communication needs.
- Promoting a positive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and inspired.
