Job Description
Are you an experienced Teacher with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are working with a number of SEND schools across Birmingham are seeking supply Teachers to provide high-quality teaching and cover across a variety of settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible, committed teacher who thrives on making a difference in diverse school environments.
As a Supply Teacher, you will work with pupils who have a range of needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and complex needs. You will deliver engaging and accessible lessons, often supported by experienced teaching assistants. Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach are essential for helping pupils achieve their potential. This role requires Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Job Role:
- Teaching pupils with a wide range of special educational needs.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and adapting activities to meet pupil needs.
- Working alongside teaching assistants and specialist staff to ensure learning is accessible.
- Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and personal development.
- Providing a positive and safe classroom environment that encourages progress.
- Flexible work to suit your availability.
