Job Description
As a Class Teacher at this school, you will be teaching a small class of Key Stage 3 & 4 students with special educational needs including Autism, MLD, communication impairments, and some physical disabilities. You will be joining an amazing team of class teachers and teaching assistants who go above and beyond to ensure that every child has access to an outstanding education. This role requires a QTS and the school is happy to consider a teacher from either a primary or secondary background.
Job role:
- Teaching a class of no more than 10 students with a range of special educational needs.
- Making lessons engaging and interactive for students, utilising the support of your TA’s.
- Planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to the needs of your students.
- Play a part in whole school life, ensuring that this school is a nurturing and welcoming environment for staff, students and parents.
- Helping children to overcome the barriers that they face and enjoy every day at school.
- Outstanding support from an experienced headteacher and a supportive senior leadership team.
