Do you love making a difference? Are you passionate about helping children access education? This lovely SEND school in East Birmingham is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 and small group basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working with children who have special educational needs. The school is welcoming and bright, staff are friendly, and every child is smiling. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working as part of a supportive team of Teaching Assistants and Teachers who love what they do. Thie Headteacher leads by example and is a joy to work with.

Job Role:
- Supporting children with Special Educational Needs in small groups and one-to-one settings.
- Collaborating with a team of Teaching Assistants to develop group activities and meet individual needs.
- Offering tailored intervention for children requiring additional help with their learning.
- Making learning engaging, fun, and accessible for all pupils.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting classroom management.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- At least 3 months of experience working with children with special educational needs.
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- A clear understanding of the Teaching Assistant role and its impact on student learning.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic nature to support children’s development effectively.
