Job Description
As a Special Needs Teacher you will be responsible for teaching a small class that is a mix of Key Stage 4 students , who have a variety of Special Educational Needs, the most common of which is Autism. You will receive outstanding support form a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants who will help you to deliver fun, engaging and valuable lessons for students. This wonderful school require a Special Needs Teacher who is passionate about helping every child get the most out of education and wants to make a difference.
Job Role:
- Teaching small classes of Key Stage 4 Students with Special Educational Needs.
- Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
- Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
- Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
- Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
- Working with an outstanding team of Special Needs Teachers and support staff.
