Job Description
You will be joining a friendly and established team of Teaching Assistants and Classroom Assistants, who go above and beyond to provide outstanding support to their students. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with small team of teaching and support staff, providing 1-2-1 academic support and guidance for the student. This role requires a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children or young adults with Autism and ideally holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Job Role:
- Working as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant
- Supporting a child with Autism on a 1-2-1 basis
- Acting as a positive influence and role model
- Understanding the needs of the child that you support
- Making school a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment
- A long-term role as a Teaching Assistant
