Pay: £100 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and energetic Sports Coach looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young people with Autism (ASD)?
We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Lewisham that provides tailored education and support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated needs.
The school is seeking a motivated and empathetic coach who can inspire students through physical activity, helping them develop confidence, coordination, and social skills in a structured, nurturing environment.
Your Role:

• Deliver engaging PE and sports sessions adapted to the needs of ASD learners.
• Support pupils’ emotional and behavioural development through structure and positive reinforcement.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists to promote physical wellbeing and teamwork.
• Encourage participation, inclusion, and enjoyment in all physical activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people (experience with SEN/ASD is highly desirable).
• A background in sports coaching, PE, or youth mentoring.
• Patient, positive, and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
