Bromley Council’s Adult Social Care Service is seeking a dedicated Locum Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Reablement Team on a 3-month contract. This role offers flexible working hours, making it an ideal opportunity to balance your work and personal commitments while making a meaningful difference to Bromley residents.

• Role: Locum Occupational Therapist
• Contract: 3 months
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Hourly Rate: £32/hour
• Location: Bromley Borough – Reablement Team
• Flexible working arrangements 2 days in office and 3 days working from home
• Expenses: Can claim back miles/travel to visits

About the role:
As part of Bromley Council’s Reablement Team, you will:

• Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for standard equipment and minor adaptations
• Completing assessments with reablement senior support workers in relation to reablement interventions and goal planning. • Triaging of reablement cases.
• Assessing for and providing specialist equipment, including seating. 
• Completing Moving and Handling Assessments.

About you:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Occupational Therapy Diploma /Degree.
• Previous experience in reablement, community, or adult social care settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
