Chef Manager

Pertemps Network Catering is now looking for a temporary, potentially permanent, Chef Manager to work Monday to Sunday on shift patterns of 11:30 am – 7:30 pm, and 7 am – 7:30 pm to assist our clients in schools in the Rugby, Warwickshire.
The ideal applicant will take two or one days off per week, depending on the demands, but must be very consistent and adaptable.

This position will require working in a school where you will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100- 700 students, which will benefit their overall well-being and academic achievement.
 
Chef Manager Responsibilities:
  • Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste.
  • Oversee food production and cooking
  • Take control of the ordering
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory records and budget control.
Chef Manager Qualifications:
  • GNVQ LEVEL 2/3
