Exam Invigilator - Newcastle

A leading secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne, committed to providing an excellent learning environment for our students. We are seeking reliable and conscientious individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators for the upcoming exam period.

Role Overview:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of examinations. Your responsibilities will include setting up exam rooms, distributing and collecting exam papers, supervising students, and ensuring compliance with exam regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Assist with the setup of examination rooms, ensuring compliance with regulations.
✅ Supervise students during exams, ensuring a quiet and orderly environment.
✅ Distribute and collect exam papers and materials as required.
✅ Ensure students adhere to exam regulations and report any irregularities.
✅ Aid students with special requirements in accordance with guidelines.
✅ Maintain confidentiality and security of examination materials.

Person Specification:
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills.
✔ Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
✔ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to fairness.
✔ Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential (full training provided).
✔ Flexible availability, particularly during peak exam periods.
