The Education Network is currently recruiting a Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant to work in supportive school settings. This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and additional needs.
The Role As a Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
• Use Team Teach strategies to manage challenging behaviour safely and effectively
• Work one-to-one or in small groups to promote engagement and learning
• Support the class teacher in creating a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a valid Team Teach qualification
• Has experience working with children with challenging behaviour (SEMH, SEN, or PRU settings)
• Is calm, resilient, and confident in managing difficult situations
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

Experience in SEN schools, alternative provision, or mainstream schools with additional support needs is highly desirable.
