Location: Skelmersdale, WN8
Pay Rates: £14.89 per hour
Shift Pattern: Rotation of earlies and days- Mon-Thur-06:00-14:00, Fri 06:00-12:00 and Mon-Thurs 09:30-18.00, Fri 08:30-15:00, 38 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary on-going
Start Date: ASAP

Forklift certification and experience is essential.
Drug and alcohol tests will be completed for all new starters.

Role Overview
We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives with FLT to join a busy, well-established, clean and safe warehouse environment. This role involves picking orders, supplying products to production department, and supporting general warehouse operations.

You will work with moderate supervision, following customer order instructions to accurately pick and prepare items for dispatch. While you will be expected to identify basic issues or discrepancies, support is available for more complex problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders and supplying products to production departments
• Verifying stock availability and order accuracy
• Preparing goods for shipment, including assembling, labelling, and arranging transport
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving materials within the warehouse using material handling equipment
• Operating FLT equipment safely and efficiently
• Updating computer systems with product and shipment information
• Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

Skills Required
Valid FLT licence and experience for one of the following:

• Bendi/Flexi
• Man-up order picker

Experience Required

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Ability to work rotating shifts with flexibility
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
