Assembly Operative – £12.85 per hour

Location: Knowsley
Job Type: Temp to Perm (12 Weeks)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (37 hours per week)

A well-established SME in Knowsley is seeking a Semi-Skilled Assembly Operative to join their team. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble products according to instructions and quality standards.
• Follow assembly, inspection, and testing procedures using the correct tools and documentation.
• Maintain accurate job cards and other manufacturing records.
• Use and interpret measuring equipment as required.
• Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Provide feedback to supervisors regarding any issues encountered.
• Assist in the introduction of new products into the assembly area.
• Identify and support cost-saving initiatives where possible.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an assembly role.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to provide two references.
