Job Description

Leading a multi-geography team of c10 people this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and overall strategic goal setting of the enterprise network topology that encompasses our clients Call and Data Centre network fabric inc associated Engineering teams.

Salary: 60 - 65k + package
Location: Remote in the UK - you have to be a UK resident with a full working Visa to apply.

Supporting a site and remote workforce of frontline agents, leadership and support services through secure means the successful individual will have extensive experience in Cisco AnyConnect and MFA Technologies and will have led teams who are not only support different geographies but who are also located outside of the UK – experience of leading a geographically diverse team is essential.

The role will also ensure the operational adherence, and certification where applicable, to such standards as PCI-DSS, ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials Plus, and will drive change through innovation and best practices, whilst maintaining a commercial awareness to overall cost management and spend control.

You will be used to working in a fast paced organisation and industry and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a network of engineers both in and out of the UK.
  • Full responsibility for implementation and management of internal and external IP transit network
  • Working with global security teams, maintain security policies and protocols.
  • Management of firewalls and other network security to prevent unauthorised access.
  • Maintain the WAN backbone to ensure resilient carry of voice, video and critical applications
  • Monitor and manage network performance and with your team troubleshoot issues in delivering high quality traffic.
  • Work with the appropriate teams to conduct internal and external vulnerability and penetration tests to identify any risks
  • Assist in conducting internal and external audits
  • Maintain and manage all corporate network assets ensuring they remain fit fort purpose.
