Are you highly organized with a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for a Stock Controller to join the dynamic logistics team at the East Midlands Gateway. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in inventory control or warehouse administration to play a key role in driving stock accuracy and operational efficiency.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You'll ensure the integrity of inventory through regular reconciliations, investigations, and reporting — all vital to enabling seamless warehouse operations and satisfying customers.
 

Hours of Work:

•    Starting mid - late August 2025, this role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis.
•    Monday to Friday,  40 hours per week, 0800-16:30 


Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and stock takes
  
  
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
  
  
• Update and maintain inventory data in the WMS/ERP system
  
  
• Generate and analyse inventory reports to support operational decisions
  
  
• Monitor inbound/outbound stock movements for accuracy
  
  
• Collaborate with warehouse teams, customer services, suppliers, and carriers
  
  
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and customer requirements
  
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends and recommending solutions
  
  
• Uphold health & safety protocols within the warehouse environment
  
  

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience: At least 1-2 years in inventory, stock control, or warehouse administration

  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles
    
    
  • Familiarity with logistics and 3PL warehouse operations
    
    
  • Awareness of health & safety standards in warehousing
