Location: Durham
Start: September 2025 | End: Easter 2026 (potential extension)
We're recruiting a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a reputable secondary school in Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students through visual arts in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Art lessons that encourage creativity, self-expression, and practical skill development.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom where all students can explore and enjoy art.
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to the abilities and interests of your students.
- Provide clear feedback to support student progress and artistic growth.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and school displays.
Requirements:
- Qualified Art Teacher with relevant teaching certifications.
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to safeguarding and high professional standards.
