Permanent FLT

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join our growing team in Leamington Spa on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a valid FLT license, a strong commitment to safety, and a positive work ethic. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
• Transport materials around the warehouse and storage areas.
• Organize and maintain stock levels, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on forklift trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of stock movements.
• Support other warehouse activities, such as picking, packing, and order preparation, as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

 
Requirements:

• Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) license (Counterbalance or Reach).
• Proven experience in operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
