Job Description

Our client, a leading specialist manufacturer in their field, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Manager to join their dynamic team in Cranleigh.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure all products meet required quality standards
Take ownership of the non-conformance process, including logging, investigating, and reporting non-conformances
Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
Manage the quarantine area, ensuring proper maintenance and rotation of retain samples
Review product quality issues, including customer complaints, and initiate corrective actions
Support the Compliance Manager with ad hoc tasks as needed
Line manage one direct report to assist in the above tasks

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in a quality control environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
Experience in quality assurance within the cosmetics or chemicals industry is highly desirable
Proficiency in preparing quality and regulatory documentation, with a solid understanding of industry standards

Package:

This is a fixed-term contract for a minimum of 9 months
Competitive Salary up to £40,000pa DOE.
Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm
